It's hard to tell from the picture if that is a pile of puke, poop or brains. If it is the first option, then I think I know where he learned it.

Yeah I think you're onto something... brains would be pretty cool, but it is in fact puke.
Sheesh..that's disgusting. Does he chew his food? :) Are you sure he didn't eat some of that same pizza.
Dog's are usually in a hurry when they eat for some reason. I don't think much chewing actually takes place. :)
