Boise Twilight Criterium

The biggest race in Idaho came and went on Sat. I managed an 11th place spot out of nearly 70 racers. I think I could've done several spots better but I went a little early and didn't have anymore gas left at crunch time. Live and learn... Next year it's ON!

Sweet action. Are you going to put a baby seat on the back for next year's race?

...could be lucky...

I think I'd be arrested for child abuse or something if I tried that move. :)

There was a huge wreck with 3 laps to go in my race only a couple people behind me... I heard a bunch of noise and what I thought was a starters gun shot, but didn't realize a bunch of people went down and somebody's tire exploded until after the race. Staying near the front when things heat up is a good thing. The Cat4/5 race also had a big crash... just like the one last year that took Nate down. It's pretty much mandatory to have some carnage at this race.

Nice!! 11th is nothing to be sneezed at. Seeing as there was carnage, maybe it is a race I should be involved in, you know, since I am good sweet spills.

...good AT sweet spills; or spilling sweetly, or...you get the idea.

You can join our team if you've got sweet nunchuck, bow hunting or computer hacking skills. I'll have to check on the spills though.

I just figured out I was actually 6th place of just the Cat3 riders too since they combined the Masters 40+ with us for this race. Too bad they don't officially separate the results though.
